Hi and thanks for visiting, I'm Zach Singh from London, your tabla teacher.

 

I'm very blessed to do what I love. Here is a little bit about my musical journey:

I learnt the tabla (Delhi Gharana) through the Guru Shishya tradition. My mentor and teacher comes from a family lineage of strict traditional musicians but I have adapted everything for kids raised in western cultures.

I work full time as a private music teacher but previously taught in primary and secondary schools across London. I was inspected by Ofsted and the School Music Services observed how I engaged with pupils from a range of backgrounds.

Family

I was born in Punjab and have 7 brothers and sisters. We moved to Oxford when I was 9 years old. I now live in London with my wife and 2 teenage children.
